Ciao!
Nice to have you here.
Nice to have you here.
Good food is not only available in restaurants. You can also make it easily and quickly at home. All you need is the right fresh ingredients and the right twist. We know what we're talking about. Because we're foodies and we love nothing more than good food. But - shhh - don't let our partners hear you say that.
All three of us have a passion for cooking - and of course for good food. However, there is far too little time for it in everyday life. Ordering something from a delivery service does the trick - quality and especially passion fall by the wayside. That's why, true to the motto "If you want it to be good, do it yourself", we have set ourselves a very clear goal: We want a Bolognese that can compete with the one from our favorite restaurants. Quick, easy and always to hand.
Why does our Bolognese taste better than any other product on the shelf or from the delivery service?
Quite simply, we only use delicious ingredients that the ambitious amateur chef or Italian "nonna" uses. Our recipes are originals from the respective regions, which we have discovered and tried out locally. Our meat is so good that we roughly turn it and our vegetables are so fresh that you can see them. Real roasted flavors, deglazing with red wine, rounding off with tomatoes - all this takes a good 4 hours. But you know what? It's worth it!
We don't compromise on our plates. Before a new recipe goes into production, it first has to win over the biggest critics there are when it comes to Bolognese: us Foodi3s. This means we spend hours and hours selecting the ingredients, sautéing, cooking, seasoning, refining and yes - even discarding.Because only what convinces each of us 3 100% in terms of taste and quality ultimately makes it into the tin.
Meat
Ifyou want the original taste of Bolognese, the origin, processing, chunkiness and seasoning of the meat are crucial.
That's whywe make our own pancetta and salsiccia.
Wecarefully select our beef, pork or wild boar meat, which is generously minced, seared - and expertly seasoned.
Fresh vegetables
Soffritto consistsofcelery, carrots and onions.
Tomatoes are the most important ingredient and, at almost half, the largest.
Andyes, we pay particular attention to the variety and taste.
Apart from garlic and chilli, everything comes from the region
The secret
Sautéed, then deglazed with red wine and topped off with a generous dash of cream, the taste explosion is possible.
Butnow the Bolognese has to simmer quietly for four hours.
During this time,Nonnamight set the table and take a little rest herself.
Our Bolognese is made exclusively from high-quality meat that we freshly cook ourselves.
As a base for our soffritto. No artificial flavors, no flavor enhancers.
The secret of a really good Bolognese also lies in the time it is allowed to simmer on the stove.
The right pasta - whether short or long - is what makes the really well-rounded taste perfect.
